The Knights of Columbus and the Rosary in Ottawa, Canada

For two years now, Dominican Friar Steven Boucher, OP of the Knights of Columbus Council #10617 in Ottawa, Ontario, along with 3 other Knights, go to Holy Family elementary school once a week during the academic year to present a catechesis of the Rosary and at the end of each session they pray one decade together with the children.

In total the group works with about 105 children from grades 4, 5 and 6. At the end of each year the school has a closing Mass and a little celebration for the grade 6 students who will be leaving the school.

At this celebration Friar Steven and the Knights present each of them with a handmade wooden Rosary.
