“Lord how to give you thanks?”

Lord, how not to give you thanks!

In the middle of the year, just after the month of Mary, we can truly give thanks for this marvelous meeting of the Teams of the Rosary and the Order of St. Dominic. It is really the Spirit of Pentecost which is at work in uniting prayer of contemplation – the Spirit reminds us of all that Jesus transmits to us – and the mission of announcing, through the witness of our life, the Good News of Jesus, son of Mary and, in truth, the beloved Son of the Father.

The feast of Pentecost is beautiful, so rich: do we not see the wind of the Spirit which gathers in teams, in communities? Do we not see the fire of the Spirit which sends the apostles to the ends of the earth? Do we not see this gift of tongues which allows everyone to sing the marvels of God in one’s maternal language?

Is not this maternal language, in which our leaflet will be translated by each of you during the monthly meeting, the language of the heart, the language of prayer, and the language of a heart to heart with the Risen Jesus when the Spirit of God joins with our spirit?

Here are we then at the heart of our mission as « Rosary Teams ». And here, how not to give you thanks? How not to communicate to others the joy of the Spirit? The joy of the Gospel with Mary?
