No.338 - December 2009
Our theme for the year:
“Lord how to give you thanks?”
Let us together look at a map of the world.
If every Rosary Team is marked as if it were a light with a different colour indicating its mother tongue, then we would today see stars of hope shining throughout the whole world.
This year, thanks to the Spanish Rosary Teams gathered in Saragosse, we can expect a large mission towards Latin America.
Just like the Basic Christian Communities, the Rosary Teams meet in homes, in neighbourhoods and villages. In other words, where life is lived, a life to be shared in the light of the Gospel with Mary.
Let us look at this map of the world and make of it our Christmas cards, to prepare our cribs in order to offer to the child of the crib this garland of Rosary Teams.
Let us rejoice in seeing that this feast of Christmas, decorated with the colours of Europe with snow and pine trees now takes on the colour of the whole world, for there are no pine trees in Bethlehem!
Let us contemplate this light of hope with the colour of Africa, of Latin America, of Australia, of the Indian Ocean where the summer heat will shine.
Let us gather all those colours in our crib and rejoice in this worldwide feast of the Rosary family.
