Mary’s Assumption in Body and Soul

This body, which has defeated death,
has learnt to die through the Son
in its earthly life, so She is the master
of our death.
And in the pilgrimage
of earthly life we hope
one day we’ll see his Face; and while

the longing of Mankind rises unto Her
our hope is purified and we recall
Mary ad the dignity of earth.
